Professional Experience

June, 2023 – March, 2024: Visiting Scholar, Rock Mechanics Laboratory, Division of Sustainable Resources Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University, N13W8, Kita-ku, Sapporo, 060-8628, Japan

September, 2021 – March, 2024: Post-doctoral Research Fellow, Laboratory of Rock Fracture Dynamics, Mineral Resources and Energy Engineering, College of Engineering, 567 Baekje-daero, Deokjin-gu, Jeonju-si, Jeonbuk National University, South Korea

Research Interests

  1. Modeling of the constitutive model under high-strain rate conditions based on dynamic fracture properties of rock and rock-like material
  2. Development of 3D finite-discrete element analysis (3D-FDEM) code (GPGPU-accelerated 3D-DFPA) based on GPU parallel computing algorithm for simulating dynamic fracturing of rocks in blasting and impact application.
  3. Experimental/Numerical Modeling of Multi-scale Rock Mechanical Behavior, Field Measurement/3-D Modeling of Rock Mass
